Gedenkstätte Köpenicker Blutwoche

I've just visited the memorial for the Köpenick's Week of Bloodshed (Köpenicker Blutwoche), an early (June 1933), dark and significant chapter in the history of  Nazi state terror. The building where the exhibition is housed was the prison of the Amtsgericht, the logal magistrates' court. Very interesting, impressive and well preserved.  Unfortunately (if you don't know German), there is very little information in German, but guided tours are possible.
The story of this 'bloody week' makes clear what Elie Wiesel once said and/or wrote,"All Jews were victims, but not all victims were Jews".
Georg Eppenstein (1867-1933) was a Jewish victim, "one of the earliest killings, after the Nazis came to power, that were motivated by anti-Semitism". From the museum I walked to the monument for the victims of this week of horrible violence.
