Sachsenhausen

After visiting the offices of House of One, I took the train to Oranienburg, and from there the bus to the site of the former concentration camp Sachsenhausen. This was my second visit to this memorial. The first time as in October 2018, with my colleague Daphna, a group of 12th grade students, and my youngest son. That day it was extremely cold (for October, that is, I had only a rain jacket). This day it was very hot outside. I had forgotten how vast the grounds of the former camp are. You can see the camp's size on some of the pictures, but when you walk between the barracks and the various parts of the camp, you physically feel how large this camp - only one, though a big one, among thousands of camps - was.
